Financial Accountant | Dublin | Hybrid
Our client, a growing and innovative organisation based in Dublin, is currently seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in their career. Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you'll play a key role in financial reporting, month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting and driving continuous improvements across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Prepare VAT returns and support statutory reporting requirements
- Support payroll and financial compliance activities
- Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful business insights
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiencies
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to support financial decision-making
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar position
- Strong experience in month-end reporting and financial controls
- Advanced Excel skills with experience using ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
- A proactive, organised individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment
