We are seeking a Financial Accountant for a maternity contract with a Tralee based manufacturing client. Starting in April, we are seeking a Financial Accountant with 3 years PQE who will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, responsibilities will include -
- General ledger/accounts and reconciliation support
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Accurately complete balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT, Intrastat, VIES, PAYE/PRSI
- Oversee the posting of payments and allocations of such to creditors accounts
- Oversee the monthly reconciliation of all supplier accounts, ensuring queries are dealt with quickly
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements.
Candidate requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Manufacturing experience advantageous
- Professional Accountancy qualification
- Strong financial analysis skills.
