Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Field Sales Representative to manage and grow a defined FMCG territory across Limerick, Clare and Tipperary, ideally operating from a Limerick base. Working directly with Store Managers and relevant decision-makers of multiples and symbols to sell in new product lines, manage stock and ordering, and drive incremental sales growth. This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, customer interaction, and delivering results on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with grocery multiples and symbols across the territory.
- Sell and secure new product listings and line extensions.
- Take responsibility for stock management and ordering, ensuring correct ranging and availability.
- Secure order approvals from Store and Department Managers.
- Drive sales growth through regular store visits, strong follow-up, and proactive selling.
- Identify and convert new sales opportunities within existing and new accounts.
- Ensure excellent in-store standards and product visibility.
- Provide accurate reporting on activity, sales performance, and opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in FMCG field sales, Van Sales, Merchandising or related experience is essential.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close sales.
- Confident working with Store Managers and senior retail contacts.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel within the territory
