Sales Manager – Construction / Renewable Energy

Role Overview
We are recruiting a Sales Manager for a growing renewable energy business operating within the construction sector. This is a newly created leadership role responsible for managing, developing, and growing a field-based sales team, with a clear progression pathway to Head of Sales.
The successful candidate will lead a team of 5 field sales professionals, driving performance, revenue growth, and customer engagement across the North Munster region.
The company designs, supplies, and installs energy systems that improve building efficiency and energy independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a field-based sales team of 5
- Drive regional sales growth across residential and commercial
- Coach and mentor the team to improve performance and conversion rates
- Support field activity through joint visits and deal progression
- Manage pipeline, forecasting, and sales KPIs
- Ensure strong CRM usage and accurate reporting
- Contribute to sales strategy and future team expansion
- Work closely with senior leadership on business growth initiatives
Requirements -STAMP 4 Visa
- Evidence of direct B2C sales experience, particularly in a residential or high-volume environment.
- Depth in specialised sales leadership and system development.
- Clear experience managing high-volume, shorter sales cycle products
- Experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce
- Previously built or scaled structured B2C sales functions within an organisation.
- Experience within construction, building products, renewables, or technical sales preferred
