Field Engineer
A well-established engineering contractor is seeking a Field Engineer to support project delivery on a major site in Tipperary. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely and in line with technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, control, and distribution of drawings and technical documentation
- Ensure works are carried out in line with specifications and issued drawings
- Support Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality processes
- Coordinate and participate in site walks with stakeholders
- Carry out snagging activities and ensure timely close-out of defects
- Assist with project handover, including documentation and verification of works
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and project management
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or similar) or strong relevant site experience
- Experience in construction or engineering project environments, ideally within regulated sectors such as pharmaceutical or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of drawings, documentation, and site processes, with exposure to quality assurance and inspection standards being advantageous
- Experience with ITPs, snagging, and project handovers is desirable
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control systems.
