I am seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to the CEO to act as a trusted partner to the Chief Executive in a senior, delivery-focused role. This position combines complex, high-level diary and executive support with ownership of strategic business projects across the organisation.

This is a role for an experienced EA who is comfortable managing a demanding CEO diary while also driving projects, ensuring priorities are translated into action and delivered effectively.


Key Responsibilities

Executive Support (Core)

  • Act as a strategic right-hand to the CEO, managing a complex, high-volume diary, meetings and travel

  • Proactively anticipate scheduling conflicts and prioritise competing demands

  • Prepare agendas, briefing packs, presentations and reports for senior-level meetings

  • Act as a gatekeeper, managing information flow and handling confidential matters with discretion

  • Coordinate board and senior leadership meetings, including preparation of papers, minutes and follow-up actions

  • Manage correspondence and communications on behalf of the CEO where appropriate

Strategic Projects & Delivery

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional business projects aligned to strategic objectives

  • Translate CEO priorities into clear project plans, timelines and deliverables

  • Track progress, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure delivery against agreed milestones

  • Drive accountability by following up on actions with senior leaders and project owners

  • Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards and progress updates

  • Support change initiatives, process improvements and operational optimisation projects


Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience as a senior Executive Assistant supporting a CEO or senior executive

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex diaries in fast-paced environments

  • Strong project coordination or project management experience

  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with strong attention to detail

  • Commercial awareness and sound business judgment

  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and following up on delivery

  • High levels of discretion, integrity and professionalism
