An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a busy manufacturing environment and become part of an experienced maintenance team.
The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and manufacturing equipment, with a strong focus on fault-finding, preventative maintenance and minimising downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair and maintain electrical equipment and machinery.
- Carry out electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines.
- Support production to maximise equipment efficiency.
- Identify and resolve recurring faults and downtime.
- Work with internal teams and external contractors when required.
- Follow all health, safety, quality and operational procedures.
- Participate in shift work and scheduled on-call duties.
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician / recognised Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Minimum 1 year's experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of industrial machinery and electrical systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong teamwork, communication and safety awareness.
- Flexible and proactive approach to work.
Hours & Benefits
Shift pattern: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm
