A skilled Maintenance Electrician is required to support plant reliability and production in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality electrical maintenance across a 24/7 operation, working 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical fault finding, breakdown response, and troubleshooting
- Execute planned preventative and corrective maintenance programmes
- Maintain and upgrade electrical systems including MCCs, control panels, and motor control circuits
- Perform basic PLC diagnostics and inverter/VSD fault finding
- Support instrumentation and control system maintenance
- Complete CMMS work orders accurately and on time
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
- Assist with installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest HSEQ standards
Requirements:
- Qualified Electrician (QQI/FETAC Level 6 Advanced Craft Certificate or equivalent)
- 3+ year's experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience in manufacturing settings
- Working knowledge of PLCs, inverters/VSDs, and control systems
- Experience with CMMS and good computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
