Solar PV Installation

Monday to Friday (early starts, flexibility required)
Due to continued growth in the renewable energy sector, an opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Electrician to join a busy installation team delivering solar PV systems across domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural environments throughout Munster.
This role offers the chance to work within the rapidly expanding solar industry while contributing to high-quality installations that support Ireland’s transition to renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assist with commissioning of solar PV systems across residential and commercial sites
- Complete electrical wiring, inverter and battery installation, testing, and system commissioning
- Review survey notes and project plans to ensure installations meet design specifications
- Identify electrical, environmental, and safety risks prior to installation
- Configure inverters and system controls to ensure correct operating parameters
- Test system voltages and verify wiring, polarity and grounding integrity
- Maintain installation standards in line with regulations and industry best practice
- Communicate professionally with customers and demonstrate system operation after installation
- Complete all required documentation and maintain company vehicle standards
Requirements
- Registered Electrician with RECI / Safe Electric
- Safe Pass certification
- Full driving licence
- Interest in renewable energy and solar technology
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and travel throughout Munster
- Previous solar experience advantageous but not essential
