An exciting opportunity is available for an Electrical Engineer to join a growing team specialising in Low Voltage Distribution Switchgear.
This customer-facing role will focus on translating customer requirements into practical, technically sound and commercially viable solutions across the utility, renewable energy and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and application support to customers, partners and Sales teams.
- Support tenders, prequalification, technical approvals and vendor onboarding.
- Develop technical solutions, product specifications and cost models.
- Support product development, testing, validation and field trials.
- Identify customer and market requirements and new business opportunities.
- Prepare technical documentation, training materials and application guides.
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Operations.
- Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and technical forums.
About You
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in utility, electrical distribution, renewable energy or industrial markets.
- Experience in application engineering, technical sales, product development or product management.
- Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage distribution systems.
- Understanding of relevant industry standards, utility specifications and product qualification processes.
- Strong customer focus, commercial awareness and communication skills.
