My client is a large-scale manufacturer in the food and beverage sector with a rapidly expanding health-focused product range, committed to improving nutrition and wellbeing through high-quality food and drink offerings for a broad consumer base.
Currently seeking an EHS Officer to join its site-based team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an EHS professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, highly regulated production environment, supporting site safety systems, compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and training
- Support site EHS systems and regulatory compliance activities
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
- Carry out EHS audits and maintain risk registers
- Support contractor safety management
- Assist with key site safety projects
- Deliver EHS training and awareness programmes
- Monitor safety performance metrics and reporting
Requirements
- Third level qualification in Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline
- 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing, FMCG, pharma, food, or other regulated production environments
- Knowledge of LOTO highly desirable
- Experience carrying out risk assessments and audits
- Strong training delivery skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
