FRS Recruitment is working with a healthcare provider in Galway who is seeking a Director of Nursing for their elderly care and rehabilitation service. This is a full-time and permanent position.

Location: Galway
Salary: €80,000–€100,000 per annum
Working Hours: 40 hours/week, 5 days on-site (8–5 or 9–5)
On-Call: On-call is part of the role
The Role:
We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified director of nursing to lead clinical and operational governance across the service.
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN)

At least 3 years’ experience in the care of older persons within the last 6 years
-
Post-registration management qualification in health or a related field (Level 9 or equivalent)

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management capacity within the health and social care sector

Registered on the appropriate part of the NMBI live register
-
Proven track record in healthcare clinical management

Demonstrated clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the role
