Customer Service Representative – Athy, Co. Kildare
Full-time | Hybrid Working (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation in the construction sector for a Customer Service Representative to join their busy and supportive team in Athy.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting customers and internal teams with orders, enquiries, and administration. The role offers hybrid working and strong long-term development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support customers, merchants, and sales representatives with day-to-day enquiries
• Process and manage customer orders accurately using SAP
• Provide updates on order progress, delivery information, and stock availability
• Handle credits, debits, and returns in line with company procedures
• Provide pricing information to account holders
• Liaise with logistics, production, and purchasing teams regarding deliveries and availability
• Provide flexible support across customer service, switchboard, and procurement functions
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a customer service or customer-facing role (essential)
• Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
• Confident IT skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work on your own initiative
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Business or related qualification is an advantage
