Our client, a well-established multinational organisation based in Shannon, is currently seeking Customer Service Advisors (English-speaking and multilingual) to join their expanding team. This role supports commercial clients in a structured, process-driven environment and offers a clear pathway for long-term career development.
This opportunity is particularly well-suited to individuals with a background in retail or hospitality who are looking to transition into a corporate, office-based role with full training provided.
Working Pattern & Flexibility
This role operates on a 24/7 support model. Candidates must be flexible across the following shifts:
- Midnight – 6:00am
- 6:00am – 2:30pm
- 7:00am – 3:30pm
- 8:00am – 4:30pm
- 9:00am – 5:30pm
- 5:30pm – Midnight
Hybrid working (2 days from home) may be available following successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to both external clients and internal stakeholders
- Manage customer queries, tasks, and emails in a timely and organised manner
- Develop strong knowledge of products, transit times, bookings, and tracking processes
- Utilise internal systems and IT tools effectively
- Handle customer complaints and claims professionally, escalating where appropriate
- Analyse reports and collaborate with the wider team
- Maintain accurate records across internal systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to service level agreements, procedures, and quality standards
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role within a fast-paced environment
- 1–2 years’ experience in retail, hospitality, or similar service-led roles
- Strong time management and self-motivation skills
- Ability to work towards individual and team targets
- Comfortable working with reports and basic data analysis
- Strong PC skills, including Excel
- Excellent written and spoken English
Language Skills (Advantageous)
Fluency in a European language is highly desirable, particularly:
French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, or Dutch
