A leading and expanding construction contractor is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects across Dublin and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior construction professional to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work and play a key leadership role across multiple projects.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of either a single major project or multiple sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will work closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and senior management to drive performance and ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful delivery of construction projects from start to completion
- Manage project programmes, budgets, and commercial performance
- Lead and mentor site and project teams across multiple locations
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, procurement, and project resources effectively
- Chair meetings and provide progress updates to senior stakeholders
- Manage project handovers and as-built documentation
- Identify risks proactively and implement practical solutions
- Support business development and repeat business opportunities
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a Contracts Manager or senior project delivery role
- Strong background within construction or civil engineering projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management ability
- Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and project teams
- Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment
- Trade background or additional industry qualifications advantageous
