Community Nurse – Birr, Co. Offaly
FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Community Nurse for a full-time, long-term opportunity based in Birr, Co. Offaly.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive community healthcare setting, delivering high-quality nursing care across the Birr sector. Flexibility to work across additional health centres within the area will be required.

Hours
Monday to Friday
9:00am – 5:00pm
On-Call Requirement
1 in 4 weekends

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within the community setting
- Support patients in their homes and local health centres
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold best clinical practice standards
- Travel across the Birr sector as required
Requirements
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and strong organisational ability
- Previous community nursing experience desirable
- Full clean driver’s licence and access to own car essential
- Flexibility and ability to work independently
