Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial management of major civil engineering projects.
- Manage project budgets, cost reporting and financial forecasting.
- Oversee contract administration in accordance with NEC, Public Works or other relevant forms of contract.
- Manage subcontract procurement, valuations and final accounts.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare monthly commercial reports and present project performance to senior management.
- Lead, mentor and develop Quantity Surveyors and commercial team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Support operational teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
- Drive commercial best practice across all projects.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
- Significant experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience managing commercial teams on large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts.
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Full clean driving licence.
