The Role
My client, a leading insurance broker, is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Dungarvan, Co Waterford.
As the Commercial Account Executive, you will be responsible for advising clients on their commercial insurance requirements, securing new business and renewals, and managing mid-term policy alterations across a commercial portfolio.
Tasks & Duties
- Manage renewals in line with agreed protocols and procedures
- Achieve individual income budgets, as well as upsell and cross-sell targets
- Ensure agreed internal processes are followed across all client interactions
- Manage aged debt and premium collection
- Ensure all activity is carried out in line with Central Bank regulations and internal company policies
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
- CIP qualified (or Grandfathered) in Commercial General Insurance essential
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar commercial insurance role
- Must conform with Fitness & Probity requirements
- Strong market, product, and technical knowledge
- Highly organised, meticulous, with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
