Clinical Sales Executive – Medical Devices & Lab Equipment
A well-established Irish medical devices company with over 25 years in the market is looking for a Clinical Sales Executive to join their growing commercial team. The Opportunity
This is a field-based role, covering public hospitals and HSE facilities across your territory, for someone who follows through and delivers, with a strong focus on histology and hospital laboratory departments. You'll be selling instrumentation, consumables, and diagnostics into hospital labs — generating new business, winning tenders, and growing accounts across your patch.
If you already have a network inside Irish hospital labs and experience delivering results in a similar role, this gives you the platform to take on bigger accounts and bigger opportunities.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Owning and growing a territory of public hospital and HSE lab accounts, with a focus on histology departments
- Leading the tender process end-to-end — pricing, submissions, negotiation, close
- Selling and demonstrating instrumentation and diagnostics equipment, backed by technical training and support
- Leveraging existing relationships to generate new business within hospital histology and pathology labs
- Working with a lean, effective internal team — no corporate red tape
- Representing the company at conferences and industry events to build pipeline
What You'll Need
- Experience selling into hospital laboratories, ideally with direct exposure to histology or pathology departments
- Background in instrumentation and diagnostics sales — you understand the equipment and the buying process
- An existing network of contacts across Irish hospital labs and HSE procurement
- Experience managing tender and public procurement processes
- Full clean driving licence, comfortable covering a national territory
