An established nursing home group is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager for their Kilkenny site. This is a hands-on position focused on delivering high-quality resident care and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the service.
Overview of Role:
- Oversee clinical care delivery and resident wellbeing
- Support day-to-day operations and step in for senior management as needed
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
- Coordinate with GPs and allied professionals to meet care needs
- Supervise staff, support training, and maintain strong team performance
- Manage documentation, care plans, and medication practices
- Promote a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment
- Engage with families and support positive relationships within the home
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (NMBI)
- Previous supervisory/management experience in older person care
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Commitment to high standards of care and resident dignity
- Flexible and dependable approach
