The Role
My client, a well-established commercial insurance broker based in Cavan, is seeking an experienced Client Executive to join their friendly, client-focused team. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position.
As Client Executive, you'll manage a portfolio of commercial policies, with a strong focus on renewals, while also supporting new business and general client servicing. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional who knows the market well and is ready to hit the ground running.
Tasks & Duties
- Advising clients across a range of commercial insurance products
- Building long-term relationships with clients, colleagues and insurers
- Understanding client needs and delivering a high standard of customer service
- Managing policy renewals, amendments and general client queries
- Developing new business, including leveraging existing market connections
- Processing insurance documentation in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements (including Central Bank of Ireland compliance)
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
- Minimum 3-4 years' insurance experience; broker experience strongly preferred, with an existing commercial book of business a distinct advantage
- CIP / APA qualified, or Grandfathered status
- Strong understanding of the commercial insurance market
- Excellent interpersonal skills - this is a close-knit, open-plan team, so a genuine team fit matters
- Ability to multi-task, use initiative and manage time effectively
