Clerical Officer Grade IV – Personal Assistant
Location: Stradbally, Co. Laois
Rate: €19.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Flexi-time available)

We are currently seeking a Clerical Officer Grade IV to provide high-level administrative and Personal Assistant support a busy setting in Stradbally. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and PA support, including diary management, scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments.

  • Prepare, format and circulate correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting minutes and confidential documentation to a high professional standard.

  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external queries, ensuring timely responses and appropriate follow-up.

  • Maintain accurate electronic and manual filing systems in line with GDPR and record management policies.

  • Coordinate meetings, audits and inspections, including preparation of documentation and tracking action plans.

  • Support HR-related administration including rostering coordination, leave tracking, recruitment documentation and onboarding paperwork.

  • Monitor deadlines and workflow priorities, ensuring all administrative systems run efficiently.

  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, reports and tracking systems using Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or PA role.

  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and reports.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
