Chemistry Graduate

An exciting aopportunity has become available for a Sourcing Administrator to join the Life Science Department of a growing international company that supplies raw materials to customers across Ireland, the UK, and global markets.
This role is ideal for a chemistry graduate who enjoys working with people, wants to develop commercial skills, and are interested in how scientific products move from supplier to customer.
*THIS IS NOT A LABORATORY BASED ROLE*
What You Will Be Doing
With full support, you will be involved in:

Communicating with customers regarding product enquiries and requests

Sourcing raw materials for industrial and manufacturing clients

Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing and availability

Supporting quotation preparation alongside the Sales Manager

Assisting with business development activities

Completing quality documentation and questionnaires

Coordinating samples and supporting supplier contracts

Maintaining databases, preparing reports, and assisting with internal audits

Building strong working relationships with customers and suppliers
What We Are Looking For

A third-level qualification in Chemistry or another Technical Science discipline(essential)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good IT and organisational abilities

An interest in developing a career in the commercial side of the Life Sciences industry

A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
Previous customer service or office experience is an advantage
