CAD Draughtsperson-Joinery
Our client ,an established joinery and manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CAD Draughtsperson to join their growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on bespoke joinery and interior fit out projects within a collaborative and innovative environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting projects from concept through to production, working closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to deliver high quality technical solutions.
Duties:
- Produce detailed technical and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare production drawing packs for workshop and installation teams.
- Develop bespoke joinery and furniture designs in line with project requirements.
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers throughout project lifecycles.
- Create schedules, specifications, and supporting technical documentation.
- Support production planning through material coordination and technical input.
- Respond to technical queries and provide drawing revisions as required.
- Ensure all drawings meet project specifications, industry standards, and manufacturing requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a CAD Draughtsperson, Joinery Designer, Technical Designer, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks ( not essential as training will be provided)
