Responsibilities:
- Providing price quotations to customers upon request and always seeking the best value for money. Maintaining records of quotations provided for audit purposes and following procedures in line with company policy.
- Liaising with external suppliers; Engineering, Pharmaceutical and Biomedical customers and third-party sub-contractors across all aspects of operations to maintain proactive and successful relationships.
- Responsible for placing purchase orders for new and existing products.
- Utilising the Company’s ERP system for processing Sales Orders and controlling Company-owned inventory.
- Issuing, receiving, and managing Customer-owned inventory and utilising Customer ERP stock management systems.
- Liaising with other business units to ensure all stores-related functions operate efficiently.
- Processing and managing returns to suppliers as required.
- Ensuring stock control records are accurately maintained.
- Ensuring compliance with all company Health and Safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous procurement and negotiation experience, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Strong IT skills, including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hardworking and reliable.
