Business Development Manager
A hybrid account management + business development role focused on:
- Growing existing client relationships
- Winning new business
- Supporting the dealer network in selling vehicles
- Driving overall business performance alongside the Country Manager
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Build and develop new customer relationships
- Manage the full sales process (lead generation → quotes → follow-up)
- Identify gaps in the sales funnel and improve performance
- Work closely with dealers and sales teams to increase revenue
Strategy & Performance
- Support development and execution of the business unit strategy
- Track and contribute to KPIs and sales targets
- Provide insights, reporting, and projections to leadership
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate cross-functionally (dealers, management, external partners)
- Build strong internal and external relationships
- Mentor team members and contribute to team performance
Operations & Process Improvement
- Ensure accurate reporting and system usage
- Improve processes and support system implementations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Experience Required
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Background in business development / account management
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to analyse data and drive performance improvements
- Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset
- Ideally experience in financial services or commercial vehicles
- Strong leadership exposure (ideally with P&L responsibility)
- Fluent English
