Role Overview
Working closely with project, design, and specialist subcontractor teams, the successful candidate will support the coordination and implementation of MEP services from early planning through to final handover. The role involves managing design information, ensuring compliance on site, and contributing to successful project outcomes
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all stages of mechanical and electrical services delivery across construction projects

Participate in pre-construction planning, build phase activities, testing, commissioning, and verification

Manage design information, technical submissions, and approvals in line with project programme requirements

Maintain clear information flow between the design team and specialist subcontractors

Monitor site installations, ensuring inspections and stage checks align with specifications and approved submittals

Chair regular coordination meetings with MEP subcontractors

Identify and manage design changes or discrepancies between drawings and specifications
-
Provide regular progress updates to the wider team via weekly reports
-
Support health and safety compliance across all MEP works

Assist with client demonstrations and system handovers

Coordinate safety file documentation and assist with BCAR documentation at project completion
Requirements
Education & Experience:
-
Relevant third-level qualification or recognised professional certification
-
2–5 years’ experience in MEP coordination or a related role
-
Experience reviewing and working with BIM models
-
Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
-
Background in electrical installation or design (advantageous)
