About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Aviation Lease Accounting Specialist / Assistant Manager to join a dynamic finance team in Limerick. This role involves working with aviation finance clients, supporting lease accounting, contract management, and financial reporting under IFRS standards. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate accounting outcomes and supporting process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare lease accounting entries and reporting in line with IFRS 16 and other relevant standards.

Support aviation contract management, including data capture, lease event tracking, and reporting.

Ensure accurate financial close activities for lease portfolios, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Collaborate with senior team members to interpret complex lease arrangements and provide technical accounting guidance.

Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Contribute to continuous improvement of lease accounting processes and controls.
Required Experience & Skills:

3–5 years’ experience in lease accounting, contract management, aviation finance, or related technical accounting roles.

Strong understanding of IFRS 16(Lease Accounting) and general accounting principles.

Experience with contract accounting and financial reporting.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) or working toward qualification.

Exposure to aviation finance, lease clients, or professional services environments is a plus.
