Role: Assistant Director of Nursing – Peri Operative Services
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Waterford
Salary: €71,160 – €87,817 per annum
FRS Recruitment is seeking an experienced nursing leader to take charge of Peri Operative Services, including Theatre, Endoscopy, and CDU. This pivotal role involves managing staff, resources, and theatre scheduling, while driving service development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage peri-operative teams and operational workflows
- Oversee staff development, training, and professional leadership
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and best practice standards
- Collaborate with senior management and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Registered with NMBI
- 3–5 years’ experience in theatre management
- Peri-Operative Nursing qualification desirable
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills
