About the Role
FRS Recruitment is partnering with a leading elderly care facility in Limerick to recruit an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This key leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality care for older people in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and management within the nursing team.
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and regulations in a nursing home setting.
- Support and develop staff, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Assist in the implementation of care policies and operational strategies.
Requirements
- Full registration with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Minimum 3 years post-registration experience caring for older people within the last 6 years.
- Minimum 3 years’ management experience in health and social care.
- Post-registration management qualification in health or a related field, or willingness to commence same.
- Management qualification or Higher Diploma in Gerontology is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
- Thorough working knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards in a Nursing Home setting.
