FRS Recruitment is now inviting applications for the role of Agricultural Consultant on behalf of our client, to support farmers and landowners across Limerick, Tipperary and Clare.

Key Responsibilities
- Advising farmers on Department of Agriculture schemes and supports, including:
- BISS, Eco Schemes, TAMS, ACRES
- Preparation and submission of scheme applications.
- Nutrient Management Planning.
- Soil sampling and fertiliser recommendations.
- Preparation of County Council and planning-related reports.
- Providing general farm business and compliance advice.
- Building relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day farm queries.
- Managing a client caseload while working both independently and collaboratively within the consultancy team.

Essential Requirements
- Level 8 qualification in Agriculture or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of Irish farming systems and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Competent IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Full clean driving licence.
- DAFM FAS approval, or willingness to obtain approval at the next available opportunity.
Working Arrangement
The role offers a flexible mix of:
- Home-based working.
- On-farm client visits.
- Occasional office attendance.
During peak periods, particularly in spring, attendance in the office may be required approximately 1-2 days per week. The remainder of the role can largely be managed remotely and through farm visits.
The successful candidate will have the autonomy to manage their own workload and develop their own client relationships, while benefiting from the support of an experienced consultancy team.

- Salary: Negotiable
- Mileage and subsistence paid.
