Advanced Paramedics - Donegal
FRS recruitment are delighted to be recruiting locum/temporary agency Advanced Paramedics to work within the Donegal base Clinical Hub and Urgent & Emergency Care service.
About the Role:
Successful candidates will be based within the Clinical Hubs in Donegal. These hubs support the National Ambulance Service call centres. When a 999/112 call requires clinical assessment, it is escalated to a doctor or advanced paramedic who will review the patient's needs, provide clinical advice, and where appropriate, direct the patient to a more suitable pathway rather than hospital attendance—for example, arranging a Community First Responder, community service or other appropriate care pathway. This is an excellent opportunity to support a national service while working in a clinically focused, non-frontline environment.
Requirements:
- Level 9 qualification
- Registered with PHECC
Key Information:
- 2–3 days of induction/training will be provided.
- Candidates will have the opportunity to visit the Clinical Hubs before accepting a position.
- They also have short-term adhoc requirements (e.g. tonight, tomorrow, weekend cover), making these ideal opportunities for candidates looking to undertake additional shifts.
