I am currently recruiting an Order Administrator to join a well-established, small, family-run business. This is a hands-on, office-based role with genuine flexibility around working hours, including options to accommodate school-friendly hours or a four-day week, ideal for someone who enjoys administration, order processing, and regular customer interaction in a close-knit working environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Processing customer orders accurately

  • Taking orders and queries by phone and email

  • Preparing delivery dockets and order documentation

  • Acting as a first point of contact for customers

  • Liaising internally with accounts (all financial processing is handled separately)

  • Providing light website updates and basic system input

  • General office administration support

Working Hours & Flexibility

  • Standard hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm

  • Flexible options available, including:

    • School-friendly hours

    • 4-day week(Monday–Thursday)

  • Fully onsite role

Systems & Environment

  • Order processing carried out on Sage

  • Comfortable use of systems is important; full training provided

  • Supportive environment with long-tenured staff

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong administration and/or order processing experience

  • Confident dealing with customers by phone and email
