My client based in Toonagh, Co.Clare is looking to hire an experienced Administrator/ Dispatch Clerk to join their team. This role is a full time contract role

Working hours 7:00-17:00 Mon to Friday (Flexibility around Saturdays)

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Scheduling of deliveries, optimising of transport and processing of dockets.
  • Daily Cash reconciliations.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the Dispatch office.
  • Reporting of Complaints and Safety issues to the Location Manager.
  • Management of the Dispatch reports
  • Filing of delivery dockets and timesheets relevant to PO’s issued.
  • Operate the office in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Process all orders in an efficient and a timely manner.
  • Other duties as requested by the Location Manager.

Requirements

  • Team player with an ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of and Command Alkon system would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of Dispatch procedures would be an advantage but not a requirement .
  • Knowledge and experience of office applications – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
