My client based in Toonagh, Co.Clare is looking to hire an experienced Administrator/ Dispatch Clerk to join their team. This role is a full time contract role
Working hours 7:00-17:00 Mon to Friday (Flexibility around Saturdays)
Key areas of responsibility:
- Scheduling of deliveries, optimising of transport and processing of dockets.
- Daily Cash reconciliations.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Dispatch office.
- Reporting of Complaints and Safety issues to the Location Manager.
- Management of the Dispatch reports
- Filing of delivery dockets and timesheets relevant to PO’s issued.
- Operate the office in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Process all orders in an efficient and a timely manner.
- Other duties as requested by the Location Manager.
Requirements
- Team player with an ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of and Command Alkon system would be an advantage but not a requirement
- Knowledge of Dispatch procedures would be an advantage but not a requirement .
- Knowledge and experience of office applications – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
