We are recruiting for a Bookkeeper / part-qualified Accountant / Accounting Technician for an established retail business in Listowel. This is a full-time office-based role reporting to the Financial Controller. As a Bookkeeper / part-qualified Accountant / Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounting and financial activities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and review financial transactions.
- Complete creditors and debtors reconciliations accurately and on schedule.
- Manage and process weekly payroll
- Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations and financial reports and statements.
- Maintain accounting controls and audit documents.
- Management of Credit Payments and Debt Collection.
- Provide ongoing support to the Financial Controller, including assistance with month-end and year-end tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of various reports as required.
