Accounts Receivable Manager

Private Healthcare Organisation | Dublin | Senior Leadership Role

FRS are partnering with a leading private healthcare business to recruit an experienced and commercially focused Accounts Receivable Manager to join the senior finance leadership team.

This is a high-impact, strategic role offering the opportunity to shape revenue performance across a large, multi-site organisation and influence decision-making at senior leadership level.

As Accounts Receivable Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end revenue cycle, ensuring that services delivered are efficiently, accurately and consistently converted into cash collected.

You’ll act as a key finance partner to operational leadership, working closely with Directors of Nursing, Regional Directors and the Senior Management Team to maximise revenue performance, improve cash flow and embed best-in-class processes.

This role combines people leadership, commercial partnering and transformation, making it ideal for a forward-thinking finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Leadership & Optimisation

  • Own and manage the full revenue cycle across all business lines
  • Monitor, analyse and drive improvements in revenue performance
  • Identify and eliminate revenue leakage opportunities
  • Implement strategies to improve cash conversion and reduce debtor days
  • Deliver high-quality revenue reporting, insights and KPIs for senior stakeholders

Operational Partnership

  • Act as the primary finance partner to operational leaders across the organisation
  • Support sites in resolving billing, revenue and debtor challenges
  • Build strong relationships to influence performance and decision-making
  • Provide coaching, guidance and training to non-finance stakeholders
  • Drive accountability for revenue outcomes across all locations

People Leadership

  • Lead, develop and mentor the Accounts Receivable team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and service excellence
  • Ensure clarity in roles, responsibilities and workload management
  • Support team development and succession planning

Process Improvement & Standardisation

  • Review and standardise revenue and debtor management processes
  • Simplify and streamline workflows across all sites
  • Embed consistent policies, procedures and controls
  • Establish and promote best practices organisation-wide

Systems, Data & Automation

  • Drive automation and system optimisation initiatives
  • Partner with Finance, Operations and IT to enhance systems and processes
  • Improve data quality, reporting and operational efficiency
  • Lead digital transformation efforts to support scaling and growth

Governance & Controls

  • Ensure robust controls across billing, collection and reporting
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial data
  • Support audit and compliance requirements
  • Monitor risks and implement corrective actions where needed

About You

Essential

  • Strong finance background (AR, Revenue, Financial Operations or Shared Services)
  • Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capability
  • Experience delivering process improvement and operational change
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong systems and data capability, with a focus on efficiency and automation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a complex, multi-site organisation
  • Leadership capability with a passion for team development

Desirable

  • Accounting Technician Qualification desirable
  • Experience in healthcare, nursing homes, hospitality or similar multi-site environments
  • Involvement in systems implementation or digital transformation projects
  • Project management experience
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle management and working capital optimisation
