On behalf of our client, an established and growing company based in North Cork, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Office Manager to join their team. This is a key position within the organisation, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function while also overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Oversee sales invoicing and maintain strong credit control procedures
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations
  • Produce regular financial reports for senior management
  • Liaise with external accounting practice and support year-end processes
  • Manage office operations to ensure efficiency and smooth day-to-day running
  • Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries
  • Supervise and support a small administrative/accounts team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar accounts or office management role
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll, VAT, and general accounting processes
  • Experience liaising with external accountants or auditors
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a small team
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
