On behalf of our client, an established and growing company based in North Cork, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Office Manager to join their team. This is a key position within the organisation, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function while also overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Oversee sales invoicing and maintain strong credit control procedures
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations
- Produce regular financial reports for senior management
- Liaise with external accounting practice and support year-end processes
- Manage office operations to ensure efficiency and smooth day-to-day running
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries
- Supervise and support a small administrative/accounts team
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar accounts or office management role
- Strong working knowledge of payroll, VAT, and general accounting processes
- Experience liaising with external accountants or auditors
- Proven ability to manage and develop a small team
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
