Our client, a well-established company based near Ballinasloe, Galway is seeking to appoint a Senior Accounts Assistant / Part-Qualified Accountant to join their growing finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to further develop their accounting experience in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support month-end close processes including journals, accruals & prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with P&L reporting and management analysis
- Preparation and maintenance of cash flow forecasts
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with audit preparation and statutory reporting
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the finance function
Skills & Attributes:
- Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Accounting Technician or experienced Senior Accounts Assistant
- An understanding of month-end and management accounting processes
- Experience with cash flow analysis an advantage
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
