The Opportunity
A growing Irish manufacturing business is seeking an Accounts Assistant Apprentice to join their finance team. This is a newly created role designed as a development pathway, offering full exposure across the finance function.
This role will suit someone at the early stage of their career who is keen to build strong foundations in accounting and develop into a well-rounded finance professional over time.
The Role
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable, processing invoices and managing suppliers
Accounts Receivable and credit control support
Assisting with payroll processing and maintaining employee records
Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
Supporting month-end processes and reporting
General finance administration and data management
Exposure to HR administration and wider business operations
The Person
Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting or finance
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Good Excel skills or a willingness to develop them
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Comfortable working in a hands-on, operational environment
