Our client, a progressive and well-established company based in Kilkenny city, is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation that offers genuine career progression and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts, creditor and debtor ledgers.
- Prepare sales invoices, credit notes and customer statements.
- Assist with month-end accounts and financial reporting.
- Process employee expenses and support payroll administration.
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with Revenue compliance.
- Maintain accurate financial records and resolve supplier and customer queries.
About You
- Previous experience in an Accounts Administrator or similar finance role in Ireland.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Irish financial practices.
- Experience using Sage accounting software.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Relevant accounting qualification (IATI, Accounting Technician, Part-Qualified ACCA/ACA or similar).
- Experience with ROS and VAT returns.
