We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Assistant (Payroll & Accounts Receivable) to join their finance team on a 6-month contract based in North Tipperary (commutable from Thurles & Templemore & Nenagh).
This is a varied role with responsibility for end-to-end payroll and maintaining an accurate AR ledger in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll
- Handle payroll queries and ensure compliance with current legislation
- Generate and issue high-volume invoices
- Allocate payments and manage the AR ledger
- Carry out credit control and follow up on overdue accounts
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and resolve billing queries
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar Payroll/AR role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or Quantum Payroll is an advantage
