Our client based close to Fethard, Co. Tipperary are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role is based on site and is full time and Permanent. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will have responsibility for Accounts Payable and Receivable function.
Main duties:
- Maintaining Debtor ledger and chasing payments.
- Maintaining Creditor ledger and reconciling to supplier statements.
- Dealing with internal and external queries in a timely manner.
- Ensuring appropriate approval of all supplier invoices.
- Prepare and process payment runs.
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparing Vat returns.
- Maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Support finance Team as required.
Requirements:
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail is required.
- Excellent numeracy & IT skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- The ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Willing to learn and adapt as part of a finance team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
