Accountant - Wealth & Asset Management / Funds | Limerick
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join a leading financial services team in Limerick. This role is ideal for recently qualified accountants with experience in Wealth & Asset Management (WAM), fund accounting, or financial services, whether from industry or practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of financial reporting, fund accounting, and regulatory engagements.
- Assist with client accounting and advisory projects, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
- Contribute to team leadership by coaching and supervising junior staff.
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Participate in internal and external process improvement initiatives.
- Support finance transformation and change management projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Experience in Wealth & Asset Management, funds, or financial services (industry or practice).
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a collaborative team environment.
