2022 Review & 2023 Trend Forecast

After two years that were significantly impacted by the forces of the pandemic, it is fair to say that 2022 represented somewhat of a normalisation of the recruitment market.

The sector was back to more or less its pre-pandemic levels with a surge in employment across the economy, creating more jobs and more opportunities.

Looking ahead to 2023, our expectation is that there will be a more muted level of growth in opportunities as the economy grapples with the cost of living and slight downturns in certain sectors.
