Warehouse Technician - Tullamore, Co. Offaly

Role Purpose
This role is to help manage the flow of materials through a warehouse both inwards and outwards in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store materials in line with required GMP regulations.
• Ensure that all stock handled is stored correctly, safely, and accurately within the warehouse facility and carry out stock taking activities.
• Provide scheduled materials to production through a pick and transfer process ensuring inventory system is updated accordingly.
• Provide other materials to production and QC when requested. Requests can be made on an ad-hoc basis and must be fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Undertake routine weekly cycle counting checks.
• Package products and prepare documentation for outbound shipments ensuring inventory system is updated accordingly.
• The use of manual/motorised material handling equipment will be necessary and must be operated in a safe manner.
• Liaise with internal and external parties regarding material and logistical issues
• Any other general warehouse activities, as required.

POSITION SPECIFICATION
Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Attributes

• Previous, proven warehouse experience and materials management from within a regulated environment with a good understanding of GMP/GDP.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced work environment
• Valid manual handling certificate and forklift licence would be an advantage
• Good communications skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Be able to work in a team environment.
• Good prioritization skills
• Prior working experience with SAP is strongly desired.
