Warehouse Operative
Job Overview
Our Clients in Wicklow are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative. You will be required to fully maintain stock and all goods in/out in our 3 warehouse areas using our CRM system.
You should be PC literate, have good communication and work well within a team. Organisation and working to tight deadlines/changes is key in this role.
Duties:
* Responsible for all goods in/out for orders and deliveries
* Recording the movement of all packages.
* Coming up with methods of optimising space in the warehouse.
* Working as part of a team.
* Keeping detailed records of what is in the warehouse, and where fellow staff can find specific products
* Keep warehouse clean, tidy and organised at all times
* Assisting with the auditing of stock levels and inventories
* Keep stock items within agreed limits and notify purchasing when reorders needed
* Checking each load for missing or damaged items.
* Receiving goods at the right dock.
* Inspection of returned goods and processing of credit on internal system
* Moving stock around by hand or forklift
* Working with drivers to get outbound vehicles loaded
* Co-ordinating logistical processes
* Carrying out safety checks on warehouse equipment - Forklift, shelves, pallet-jack etc
* Be proactive, extremely organised and be able to work under pressure
* Occasional deliveries
Requirements:
* Previous Warehouse Experience
* Motivated, energetic, ambitious, and detail-orientated
* Safe Pass holder
* Forklift licence
* Full clean drivers licence
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Access, Excel.
* Answering and making business calls with a positive tone and resolution
* Occasional out of hours work
* Extremely organized
* Able to work to tight deadlines/last minute changes
