FRS Recruitment is now inviting applications for the role of 'Senior Warehouse & Procurement Manager' on behalf of a leading Irish Agribusiness, based in South Co. Kildare. Given to it's excellent location, this role may also suit candidates within a commutable distance and coming from counties Laois, Carlow, North Kilkenny & West Wicklow. Indeed, this is a full time permanent role that offers a strong basic salary for the successful candidate.

As this is a Senior Management role, the ideal candidate will require a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, be highly motivated, have excellent communication, computer and interpersonal skills.

The Role: Warehouse & Procurement Manager

The Role

  • Ensure the smooth running of warehouse and procurement areas.
  • Ensure delivery deadlines are met.
  • Develop, implement and continuously make improvements to layout, processes etc.
  • Implement structures to allow for continuous and seamless growth as demand arises.
  • Process sale orders, for warehouse staff to pick and dispatch.
  • Create assembly orders biased on the sales and warehouse requirements.
  • Use the ERP system to maximise efficiency. (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
  • Continuous improvement of BOM's to ensure accuracy of picks.
  • Liaising with transport companies and suppliers.
  • Forecasting stock levels based on demand to meet the business needs.
  • Develop and improve procurement strategy.
  • Ensure stock is ordered in a timely manner to meet demand.
  • Training, supervising and appraising staff.
  • Maintaining statistical and financial records.
  • Implement KPI's to ensure targets are being achieved.
  • Implement and managing procurement budgets.
  • Administering stock control.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

The Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Have extensive management experience.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Problem analysis and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Ability to multi-task, work to deadlines, achieve targets and prioritise
