The Value Stream Manager will be a critical member of the Management Team and will work with senior stakeholders to support functions as required to sustain a world-class manufacturing system using the principles of the Shingo Lean Manufacturing Model.
The position specifically requires managing PBS Operations in a safe and environmentally compliant manner to deliver quality product per QMS Standards.
This product is delivered to internal and external customers as required on time per Plant Leadtimes, MCP and agreed schedules adherence metric targets.
Ensuring that the highest standards are utilised by production team members in the control and use of all raw materials, finished products, production area equipment, processes and procedures.
Oversee that production processes are stabilised, standardised, documented and process checked to ensure PMR compliance.
Champion of Lean Manufacturing / Operational Excellence Systems and is responsible for the effective use various tools and processes.
Continuously develops own levels of knowledge and managerial skills. Through use and support of the Plant personal Development program and in conjunction with HR/Training and Operations Leadership he realises the optimum contribution of leadership levels and associates within his department.
You will hold a Level 8 Engineering Degree or equivalent and 5+ years experience in a production / operations leadership role along with knowledge of relevant GMP and ISO 13485 regulations. Critical also is knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / CI. Program
