Training & Development Lead

The Role:

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure business objectives are met through effective learning solutions, administer, oversee and organise job specific training programs
  • Develop, lead and support technical training and organisational training initiatives
  • Focus on continuous development of training initiatives, materials, programs and processes
  • Manage the execution of training plans, monitoring progress and initiating corrective action as necessary to rectify deviations
  • Develop, coach and support instructors in all aspects of the fulfilment of their role
  • To continuously evaluate training effectiveness to meet performance targets
  • Monitor and report on plant compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain and update the Learning Management System
  • Support for internal and external audits, act as a point of contact
  • Participate as required, in a training related role, in projects and activities that are pertinent to the needs of the business and the provision of training support
  • Participate fully in all GMP related activities

The Candidate:

  • Third Level qualification in Training and Development or equivalent qualification
  • Has the ability to influence and lead others
  • Diligent and detail-oriented
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of training systems in particular continuous improvement training related initiatives preferable
  • Computer literate essential with knowledge of Learning Management Systems preferable
  • Project Management certification or equivalent preferable
