Role: Timber Frame Designer
Location: Longford
Salary: Depending on Experience
Due to continued growth of one of Ireland's leading manufacturers of timber frame homes and roof structures are now looking for a Timber Frame Designer in Longford.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Consult engineers, architects, and contractor to clarify requirements and to rectify site issues.
Interact with in-house design team to co-ordinate timber frame design.
Produce detailed drawings for manufacture and installation of timber frame panels based on architectural drawings and specification.
Interact with customers, responding to technical queries.
Liaising with client design teams and external consultants in relation to live projects.
Liaising with site teams in relation to queries arising.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years post qualification experience in Timber Frame design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD software.
- Knowledge of Digital Project Delivery principles.
- Ability to read, develop and understand architectural/engineering drawings.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Ability to work in a busy work environment.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Excellent attention to detail.
